Introductions

This page and this ministry is not about me.

It is about our Heavenly Father and the son Jesus Christ and putting out worship and scripture to honour His majesty, uplift His children and inspire anyone who may not yet know Him to maybe take a closer look at what HE IS and not what mainstream media makes Him out to be.

So you won't be seeing a whole lot of pictures of myself up here I think.

Just the one to put a face to all this.

 

I just wanted to say ‘Hi!’ and introduce myself for anyone who may not know me, or what I’m doing here in Heavenward Worship.

I'm Samantha Maung, a born-again christian singer, songwriter and musician; happy wife, mother of two amazing little boys and tentative follower of a calling God placed on my heart to step out and share new christian praise and worship music inspired by His majesty, His actions and His Word. We are just getting started here so stay tuned!

I pray that you will be touched by what you hear and what you read and it is my ever fervent goal and desire that Heavenward does right by God, and we walk right before Him; that you may come to know the love of Jesus the way I have over the last 20 years.

He is gracious, He is patient, He is the best teacher, father and friend you could ever hope for and He has given all- even His very life- to make us a way back to Him. You and I were made for relationship with God and His amazing grace doesn't end at the Cross. He walks with us daily, edifying, disciplining and refining us into the masterpiece only our creator could possibly know is hidden within us. He picks us up off the floor when we fall down wrecked by life, dusts us off and helps us find a way to walk again.
